How we compute your Singapore salary rank
We use the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) Comprehensive Labour Force Survey 2025 income distribution to pinpoint where your income lands. It covers full-time employed residents (citizens + PRs) and is measured on gross monthly income from work excluding employer CPF — the pay an employee actually receives. Your entered annual income is ranked within your MOM 5-year age band, with an all-ages rank shown too. The full-time resident median is S$5,000/month (S$5,775 including employer CPF) and the 20th percentile is S$2,817. Take-home pay deducts employee CPF at 20% (age 55 and under, OW ceiling S$7,400/month) and IRAS resident income tax. The data covers residents only; foreign pass-holders are excluded.
Sources and reliability
All data is sourced from official Singapore bodies: the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) Comprehensive Labour Force Survey 2025 (full-time resident monthly income distribution, excluding employer CPF), CPF Board 2025 (employee 20%, OW ceiling S$7,400), and IRAS resident income tax YA2025. No proprietary adjustments — only official statistics. Percentiles are on gross income from work (excluding employer CPF), with cohorts approximated using MOM median by age. The data covers residents only (citizens + PRs, about 4.18M of 6.04M population), excludes foreign pass-holders, and is measured each June.
